Unsere Kursleitenden

I have been teaching English since 2011 and joined VHS Dresden as a course instructor in 2024. I hold a university degree in Linguistics and Cross-Cultural Communication as well as two Cambridge English qualifications: C2 Proficiency, the highest-level Cambridge English exam, and CELTA, an internationally recognised qualification for teaching English as a foreign language. I have also worked as a Cambridge English Speaking Examiner.

Over the years, I have taught English to students of different ages, levels and backgrounds, with much of my experience focused on adult learners. What I particularly enjoy about teaching at VHS Dresden is working with people who choose to learn English and are genuinely motivated to make progress.

In my classes, I aim to create a relaxed and encouraging atmosphere in which students feel comfortable speaking English and putting what they learn into practice. For me, learning a language is ultimately about being able to use it – confidently, naturally and with enjoyment.
